The program covers organizational strategies that can be implemented through
mentoring programs and how to develop, implement, and evaluate the success of a
mentoring program. It also covers steps for selecting mentors and mentees, steps
for matching mentors to mentees, and guidelines for establishing strong
mentoring relationships. Mentoring: Developing Your Mentoring Skills offers the
student an overview of a mentor's job and competencies, how to develop strong
mentoring relationships, and how to mentor effectively. The program covers steps
for choosing mentees, elements that make mentoring work, and behaviors mentors
should avoid. It also covers learning styles, how to maximize mentees' learning
potential, and how to manage mentees appropriately. Mentoring: Using a Mentor to
Your Advantage offers the student guidance for becoming an effective mentee,
building a strong mentoring relationship, and maximizing the benefits of
mentoring. The program covers the mentee's job, possible learning styles, how to
set effective goals, and how to become an effective learner. It also covers
