Microsoft Excel 2007 Adds up to Major Changes

IHave you seen the 2007 version of Excel? Not only does it look different, it is different. Microsoft made major changes to the entire suite of Office applications making Microsoft Office 2007 training a smart move for anyone who will be using the software.

In Excel's case, the biggest change is its new look. The so-called "ribbon" has taken the various toolbars and menus and rearranged them into tabbed groups. Each tab contains the most-commonly used tools for that particular task. For example, the Insert tab contains icons for things you would likely insert into a spreadsheet such as tables, pivot tables, charts, pictures, and text boxes. However, not all tools are included or easy to find. Want to insert a row or column? There's no tool found in the Insert tab for this simple task. Instead, go to the Home tab where you'll find it in the Cells section.

Little inconsistencies like this make Microsoft Excel 2007 training a good idea. With training, you can find out exactly how to use Excel and where to find your favorite tools.

In addition to getting up to speed, Microsoft Excel 2007 training is an excellent way to finally learn how to use the more advanced features such a pivot tables, what-if analysis, and formula auditing.
