What's the Word on Microsoft Word 2007?
The word is this: MS Word 2007 is pretty cool. It's been completely redesigned so there's a bit of a learning curve at first for users of earlier versions. Nothing that a little Microsoft Word 2007 training can't solve though. Once you're up to speed with the changes, you'll probably find that you like them.
The first thing you'll notice is that Word looks different. From the moment you open it to the time you type your first word, you'll feel as if you are in a brand new environment. The heavy emphasis on the blue theme is actually quite pretty. The default font, Calibri, is brand new, too. But the pretty screen and interesting new font aren't the only cosmetic changes. The toolbars and menus are gone! They've been replaced with the "ribbon" and the Office Button.
To get familiar with these changes, Microsoft Office 2007 training isn't a bad idea. The entire suite has been updated and shares common features. For example, you'll want to get familiar with the Office button and Word options as well as the various ribbon tabs.
Microsoft Word 2007 training can get you up to speed and teach you how to use many of the more advanced features such as working with Mailings and References.
