The last in our series of Freehand computer training books is the Freehand MX Advanced study guide. This course takes what you have learned in the basic and intermediate courses and builds upon it. You will learn how to modify image shapes and paths as well as look at PostScript and non-PostScript printers. You will create a variety of effects, blends, and smudges to modify an object. In addition, you will learn how to divide paths, join paths, make slits, and mask paths.
Like the other books in the series, this Freehand MX Advanced courseware contains hands-on activities that let you do the tasks such as how to create additional pages, use the Add Pages button for navigating and rearranging pages, attaching URLs to pages, and publishing the page on the Internet. Other activities include importing both single-page and multi-page documents, exporting your FreeHand documents as different formats, and viewing your document in Flash Player.
The Freehand MX Advanced courseware makes an excellent reference book after the course. In addition, if you are participating in other forms of FreeHand training courses, you can use this book as a supplemental study aid.
