Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be comfortable working with PowerPoint's environment, opening and launching presentations, using help, creating new presentations, adding slides, editing your content, rearranging slides, adding slides from other presentations, formatting text and bullet lists, aligning text, using editing commands, such as Find, Replace, Cut, Copy, and Paste, and using drawing tools.
You will also know how to create your own visually-appealing text objects with WordArt and be able to add and modify images with the Picture Tools tab options. Next, you will learn about adding tables to presentations, entering text in a table, and formatting the table.
The course teaches you about using the Create Chart Tools and the IGX Graphic Tools for creating and editing charts and IGX charts. You will also learn how to use a template to modify a presentation, use the Master Slide view to make global changes, specify a slide's transition and timing, add speaker notes and footers, and set up a presentation for both a speaker as well as for a kiosk.
Finally, you will be able to use Spell Check, Thesaurus, and AutoCorrect for proofing your presentation and you will be able to prepare your presentation for viewing and printing. You will learn how to specify printing options for the entire presentation, handouts, a single slide, and notes pages.
