AWLAT - Cisco Aironet Wireless LAN Advanced Topics Training Classes

During this AWLAT training class, you will focus on advanced WLAN design incorporating Cisco autonomous access points into wired infrastructures such as CiscoWorks WLSE and Cisco Secure ACS. In addition you will examine Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming and security. (Take note that lightweight access points and controllers are not covered here, if you want comprehensive coverage of those subjects, you will need to take a look at our Cisco Unified Wireless Network Training course.)

The Cisco Aironet Wireless LAN Advanced Topics training class incorporates a variety of hands-on labs that will require the use of your own laptop computer. Please bring our own laptop computer running either Windows 2000 (SP4) or Windows XP to class. This laptop needs to have an available Ethernet port, a 32-bit Cardbus slot, and a 9-pin serial port (or USB-to-serial adapter). Make sure that you are set up to have administrator rights to the laptop because you will need to install drivers for the wireless client that is used in class.
