CIPT2 - Cisco IP Telephony Part 2 Training Classes
If you took part one of our Cisco IP telephony course, get ready for our CIPT 2 training class. This course will take your further into the depths of the advanced features of Cisco CallManager and IP telephones as well as prepare you for Cisco Exam #642-444.
These high-tech courses show you the advanced features and how to use them for deploying video in IP telephony networks. You also learn how to secure voice and video communications and improve your ability to effectively monitor and manage your network.
Like Part One of this two-part series, our exceptional lab environment is a real-world, Cisco-equipped network that progresses from the course material you learned earlier. You'll continue where you left off and progress through the next level. Our extensive hands-on labs now include simulated PSTNs. This allows for an enriching experience and lets you get practice in the dial plan lab for toll fraud prevention as well as hands-on experience using Dialed Number Analyzer in our tools lab. Our lab solutions are unlike any other training company's.
You get to work in a simulated PSTN, deploy Cisco CallManager 4.1, use pods complete with internal and external phones, and build and test a real dial plan. You will also build and test real CoS solution allowing for internal dialing, 911 and service code dialing, long distance dialing, local dialing, and international dialing. Head into the labs where we focus on CallManager administration. We've done the wiring so you can work on actual CallManager configurations rather than rewiring tasks.
These training class do not require router experience nor do you need to know the Cisco router command interface. If you have a little bit of IP knowledge, that is helpful however it is not a prerequisite to the CIPT2 training class.
Among the value-added topics and labs are toll fraud prevention, time of day routing, and Forced Authority Codes. Additional labs include locking down Windows and CallManager, video, encryption and authentication, CDR and CDR Administrative Reporting Tool, Real-Time Monitoring Tool, and troubleshooting with trace files and the Dialed Number Analyzer

What You'll Learn
By attending this training class, you will learn how to configure Cisco CallManager, IP SoftPhone, IP Communicator, CallManager Attendant Console, Cisco's Video Telephony Advantage, IP Video Conferencing, and dial plans for video telephony. You will also learn about the various capabilities of IP/VC 3500 series MCU, H.323 integration of the video, and IOS Gatekeeper. Other topics include installing the VT Advantage client, IP Communications Security game plans, securing IP telephony environments, Certificates and Certificate Trust List Files, Transport Layer Security, Security Agent, Real-Time Monitoring Services, and Dialed Number Analyzer.
