What You'll Learn

After attending this HIPS class, you will understand CSA and the CSA MC and which platforms and infrastructures support them and you will be able to configure how Cisco Security Agent protects host systems. You will work with installing CSA with a default Agent kit, creating host groups and building host kits, defining application classes, associating application classes with appropriate security policies, configuring security policies, using variables for granular control during the creation of rules, configuring rules, configuring system correlation rules for CSA, choosing appropriate rules for Windows or Unix (or both) operating systems, performing data analysis, creating policies with CSA Analysis, managing Event Logs, and generating reports.
