MPLST - MPLS Traffic Engineering and Other Features Training Classes

MPLST training classes

The MPLST - MPLS Traffic Engineering and Other Features training class is a course that is designed to teach you about the new and advanced features of MPLS services as well as how to design and implement these features. MPLS facilitates new services and also provides for quality of service and constraint-based traffic engineering.

If you want to learn advanced MPLS-based skills and knowledge, this is the class to take. You'll learn technology basics first and then move on to discover the more advanced functions and features including Carrier Supporting Carrier, Traffic Engineering, and Any Transport over MPLS (AToM). By looking at the technology issues of MPLS from a different perspective, you will learn how to work with and configure these features in your current, routed environments.

The MPLST - MPLS Traffic Engineering and Other Features training class takes place over five full days of instruction. Our certified instructor leads you through the various lectures, presentations, and exercises. Together you will go over various topics including a MPLS VPN Review, MPLS Label Assignment and Distribution, Frame-Mode versus Cell-Mode, Carrier Supporting Carrier, MPLS Traffic Engineering Technology and configuration, MPLS Traffic Engineering, MPLS Quality of Service, Any Transport over MPLS, and MPLS IPv6 support.

A series of hands-on labs ensure you get real experience working with these concepts and in-depth learning.

The onsite MPLST - MPLS Traffic Engineering and Other Features training class is an excellent choice if you are considering sending a team of six or more students to us. Instead, let us send our instructor to you while you enjoy the cost savings.

What You'll Learn

By enrolling in this course, you will learn about MPLS peer-to-peer architectures, routing update distributions, label allocations, and packet forwarding models. You will be able to work with service provider support by implementing the MPLS Carrier supporting Carrier service. Other topics include MPLS Traffic Engineering architectures, traffic engineering implementation with MPLS, constraint-based path establishment, and traffic to traffic trunks assignments.

You will also be able to use CISCO IOS commands for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting MPLS Traffic Engineering, work with defined SLAs incorporating MPLS QoS services, and configure, troubleshoot, and monitor Layer 2 services and IPv6 support in MPLS environments.

Who Needs to Attend

If you are involved in pre and post-sales tech support, or if you are an engineer who designs and works with MPLS VPN, MPLS TE, and various advanced MPLS services in Service Provider backbones, this course is an excellent choice.

This MPLST training class is also appropriate for decision makers, designers, and engineers who are interested in the new, advanced technologies of MPLS.
