The Voice over Wireless LAN v1.0 training class features numerous hands-on labs. These labs further reinforce the concepts covered in the classroom. In this course, you will need to bring a laptop running either Windows XP or Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 with an available 32-bit Cardbus slot, an Ethernet port, and either a USB-to-serial adaptor or a 9-pin serial port. Because you will be installing drivers for the wireless client in class, you must have administrator rights to the laptop. If you do not bring the appropriately equipped laptop, you will be unable to participate in the labs. Make sure to come prepared so you can get all the benefits the labs offer.

Your instructor will lead you through a variety of teaching events including lectures, discussions, demonstrations, question and answers, and hands-on labs and exercises. All of the various course and lab work build your knowledge and prepare you for working with these technologies in the real world.
