Microsoft's new Windows Vista operating system is a complete overhaul of previous versions and features many enhancements. If you are migrating to Vista, it's important that you understand exactly what's involved. The Migrating to Windows Vista training class allows you to explore these new features in a networked environment. You will also test the techniques in our labs first so that you get real-world experience.

By taking this Migrating to Windows Vista class, you will gain an understanding of the benefits and costs you will incur when you migrate to Vista and eventually over to the Longhorn Server. The three day instructor-led course gives you an overview of MS Vista and its various editions as well as goes over the key Vista and Longhorn dynamics. You will look at Microsoft's virtual machine technology for creating testing environments, explore WDS (the new deployment service) and take a look at Vista's new imaging tools.

The Migrating to Windows Vista training class is extensive and places a big emphasis on hands-on labs so that you will get the know-how needed to successfully deploy Vista as well as the background you need in order to make an informed decision as the whether to migrate to Vista. When you decide to upgrade or migrate to this new OS, you will know how to come up with a transition plan and create an accurate migration timetable so that the move goes as smoothly as possible.

This course is available at our location or yours. If you have a group of six or more team members who will be taking this course, consider the onsite Migrating to Windows Vista training class as a cost-effective solution. We'll send our instructor to your location.
