SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Fundamentals (3071)
If you have no experience with Linux but wish to learn the basics, this three day training camp is for you. You’ll learn the main concepts of open source software and the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, and skills for the administration of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10. This course is a prerequisite to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Administration. The skills taught are entry level skills used by Linux administrators or help desk technicians in an enterprise environment.
After completing the course, you will understand key Open Source concepts. You’ll be able to perform fundamental administration tasks such as managing users and permissions, installing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, and understanding the basic concepts of bash and the file system.
