This curriculum introduces the learner to the .NET framework and also the differences between ASP and ASP.NET, coverage of the ASP.NET platform and features, core elements of ASP.NET - Web Forms, ASP.NET script code, and page events. It also provides the learner with instruction on using ADO.NET to access data, on separating code from content, and on using the ASP.NET trace feature, using ADO.NET to access data from various data sources and allows the learner to practice displaying and customizing data display, describes the different methods of separating code from content. Finally, Web services and enhancing the functionality of Web applications by using ASP.NET are discussed.
